NEW: he swayed
He swayed - his ankles - his hips - his arms - neck - head - he swayed - swayed in silence. It was night - it was moonless - it was silent. He was beyond everyone - beyond the rest. He stretched out his fingers - touched stars with an icy sheen - touched stellar clouds with a hum - touched the blistered lips at the edge of the cosmos - touched the face of god - god with the smooth cheek and the sightless eyes. The boy swayed as a dance of one - rooted to the splintered pavement - rooted to the bedroom walls - to the ocean depths - to dark silver clouds - to his hand on his face - hand on his face - hand on his face in lustrous ecstasy. Dancing alone to nothing - his connector to the world that he could live with - the dimensions beyond - in between - behind - below. He swayed in sequence - he swayed as a stripling - blurred - as a boy with no name - a god with no steaming heart. He swayed in silence - caught in a cosmic pile up of emotions never spelt out - never felt through - except in the silence in sway. He breathed deeply - held his head - shaved to near nothing - eyes wide - eyes shut - lips parted - his fingers - long - thin - drumming on his tight scalp - drumming to the near nothing that always followed him - always sculpted his shadows. But nothing mattered in this moment - nothing could touch him. A boy lost in a secret moment - lost in the darkness of a moonless night - lost in the sway.
