NEW: Who is Vincenzo Strand?
Vincenzo Strand was young, more boy than man, but not as young as you would assume. His youth, like a ray of suffused light, concealed and diverted attention from what lay behind the surface shine. Like a candle held to the mirror, Vincenzo was a mere reflection of the dancing flame.
But in moments of clarity that only the rare few could experience, his face, the real face, flickered through the light of innocence. It was not a sight easily forgotten. There was a thick, oozing darkness to Vincenzo, one that had spikes of ruthlessness and madness that seemed unquenchable. For one of so few years, and with the face of an angel, some wondered whether he was indeed a falling one. This was a young man of unimaginable danger and mayhem.
It was rumoured that Vincenzo Strand kept a continuing journal, one scribbled in a diabolic crabbed and urgent hand that was both his own, and that of unknown previous authors. Whether true or not, that journal would perhaps tell the real story of this most singular of young men.
