NEW: strange event

 

Strange thing happened to me this morning. I was staring at a windswept hawthorn on top of a local hill, which has an ancient hillfort and fogou attached to it, and then standing beside the hawthorn was a tall, immensely thin, dark figure. This figure had no features that I could see, no animation, but I felt that it was staring fixedly at me. It seemed as if it was wrapped entirely in an all-encompassing dark cloak, so I couldn't see arms, legs, or even a head. It stood, still and erect for a few seconds - then was gone as quickly as it had appeared - no fading - just there and then not there. It wasn't a frightening encounter, but an interesting one.
