He sat in the room, long table, chairs, no window. What was he here for? The room was silent, empty, withdrawn. He heard the slide from safe to...another place altogether. The slide gathered momentum, flowers and pungent smells burst into the room. He was never alone, he always knew that...but now, the slide told him so much more.
