HE PIERCED THE UNIVERSE IN 12 PLACES

So he set the moon off with his hair, or was it his eyes? Either/or, the moon came crashing down in all its yellow/cream/white splendour. It came crashing down to continual earths, orbs without end, hiding as flat plateaus/expanses/seas and oceans. Eyelids flickered and phases waxed and waned, phrases jumped and jived, praises fractured and coalesced. There was submergence on the horizon, but his hands barely moved. He drummed anthems and hymns with long thin bony fingers, fingers for piano, fingers for poise. He drummed pop drones and orchestras, notes bleeding through to "somewheres" and "nowheres". It's good to be visual and vocal he thought, as his smile pierced the room, pierced the sky, pierced the universe in 12 places.
